Telecom Audit Service Delivery Process
ProfitLink’s telecom audit process is designed to minimize our Clients' legwork and maximize their control over what’s going on at all times. Here are the main steps of our process:
- ProfitLink asks our customers to give us their most recent month’s invoices for local, long distance, data, internet access and most recent three months’ invoices for company liable wireless services.
- ProfitLink asks our Clients to give us written permission to access their telecom supplier accounts.
- ProfitLink requests special detailed billing records from the telecom suppliers. These records are compiled in various telecom billing system code languages.
- We load these special, detailed billing records into our proprietary telecom audit software solution.
- The solution builds a detailed inventory of relevant services and corresponding charges organized by service location, service type and supplier.
- The solution automatically audits every line, every feature and every minute of use in your telecom portfolio and their corresponding charges by comparing them to best practices inventory algorithms and the correct rates for each service.
- ProfitLink’s team of telecom billing experts performs a detailed review of the automated audit’s findings.
- In 6-8 weeks, we present our audit findings to our Clients and ask for their written permission to implement our savings recommendations. Nothing happens without our Clients’ written permission. ProfitLink’s Clients have the line item veto and can reject any recommendation we make.
- With our Clients' written permission, ProfitLink implements our recommendations, coordinating with Client stakeholders and suppliers as necessary.
- When and only when our Clients realize a verifiable cash flow benefit as a result of our services, we send our Clients an itemized bill with complete, verifiable details of how our fees are calculated.
A ProfitLink's telecom audit can be customized to fit your specific needs. Many of our Clients start by targeting a particular vendor, service category or service location as a “proof of concept” and then expand the scope of their project based on the success they achieve.
